About the brand
ECHO is a long-established Herefordshire charity supporting people with learning disabilities to live more independent, fulfilling lives. Through a wide range of creative, social and skills-based activities, ECHO provides meaningful opportunities for participants to build confidence, develop new skills, and engage with their community.
With over 30 active projects and a strong network of staff and volunteers, ECHO delivers vital, people-led services that make a genuine difference every week.
Project Summary
ECHO’s previous website had become difficult to manage and no longer reflected the quality or impact of their work. Content was hard to navigate, key journeys were unclear, and the site functioned largely as a static information hub rather than an active tool for engagement.
At the same time, the organisation had evolved significantly—expanding its services, growing its audience, and increasing the need for clearer communication with families, carers, professionals and supporters. Improving mobile usability and simplifying content management for internal staff were also key priorities.
The challenge was to create a website that could clearly communicate ECHO’s offer, build trust with its audiences, and make it easier for users to take meaningful action.
